David Lee Roth passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at JFK Medical center in Edison. He was 48 years old.

Born in Rahway, he resided in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township for many years; and has resided in South Amboy for the past 15 years.

Mr. Roth was employed by Sun Tools in Irvington many years ago.

He was predeceased by his father, Robert W. Roth, in 2012; and a brother, Robert J. Roth, in 2007.

Surviving are his wife of 19 years, Caryn Heelan Roth; three children, Isabel, Maxwell and David Lee Roth, Jr, all at home; his mother, Elizabeth Roth, of Colonia; two sisters, Anna Bertothy of Wolcott, CT and Elizabeth Barto of Bayville; a brother, Timothy R. Roth, of Fords; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 2:00 until 4:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (www. costello-koyen.com) 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A committal service will take place on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Vanderhoven Chapel on the grounds of Hazel Wood Cemetery, Rahway.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the First Presbyterian Church of Avenel, 621 East Woodbridge Avenue, Avenel, NJ 07001 in David's memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.
