Danielle E. Prieto passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016. She was 23 years old.

Born in Englewood, she has resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township since 2012.

Danielle attended Berkeley College in Woodbridge.

She is survived by her loving parents, Kenya E. Mata and her husband, Jacinto Perez, of Avenel and Dionys Prieto of Howell; her adoring sisters, Alexa-Jo Perez of Avenel, Brianna Rengifo of East Rutherford and Kaila Alexis Prieto of Howell; grandparents, Elizabeth and Carlos Luque, of Avenel and Maria Prieto of Florida; step-sisters, Amanda and Rachel Leonard, of Bayonne; and step-brother, Eric Perez, of Bayonne.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
