Daniel John
Viola
August 29, 1972 — October 17, 2025
Avenel
Daniel John "Danny" Viola, 53, of Avenel, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by his loving family. Daniel was a skilled carpenter who dedicated his career to his family's business, Titan Contracting, where his hard work and craftsmanship left a lasting mark on every project he touched.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on August 29, 1972 to the Late Ann and Elio Viola, he was a lifelong resident of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township. Daniel was one of six siblings and was especially proud to have been born a triplet alongside his brother Michael and sister Dina — a bond that remained strong throughout his life.
Surviving are his sister, Dina Melendez and spouse, Jose Ruiz, of Avenel; brothers, Ives Viola and his wife, Jennifer, of Stockton, Peter Viola his wife, Lori, of White Township, Jimmy Viola his wife, Miriam, of Avenel and Michael Viola of Woodbridge. He also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews, Michael, Peter, Danielle, Ives, Nicholas, Brooklyn, Lauren, Mia, Liam, Cole, Anthony and Kyle; great-nieces and nephews, Nico, Luca, Gino, Gianna, Lucia, and Pedro; uncle, Richard Malvino and his wife, Griselle; many cousins and friends; and his Loving Dog, "Gracie Girl" all of whom brought him endless joy and pride.
Daniel was an outdoorsman at heart who found peace in nature, whether he was riding his motorcycle, casting a line while fishing, or spending quiet mornings hunting. He was a true connoisseur of both food and music, with a love for good meals, good tunes, and great company.
Daniel will be remembered for his generous spirit, contagious smile, humor and deep love for his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live forever in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.
