Daniel Charles
Flanagan
June 2, 1984 — January 4, 2026
Asbury Park
Daniel "Danny" Charles Flanagan, 41, passed away on January 4, 2026.
A resident of Freehold, Danny was born on June 2, 1984, and grew up to be a man defined by his skilled hands, adventurous spirit, and a heart that knew no bounds.
Danny was the person everyone called when they were in a jam. Whether through his career as a talented mechanic or his time in the National Guard, he lived a life of hands-on service, known for his ability to fix anything and his willingness to drop everything for a friend or family member in need. But Danny knew how to play just as hard as he worked.
He was at his happiest breathing in the salt air of the Jersey Shore, practicing the quiet patience of a morning spent fishing, or leaning into the chaotic joy of a family gathering. To those who knew him best, he was the funny one—the adventurous soul who would do absolutely anything for the people he loved.
He is survived by his wife, Meaghan Kasten; his mother, Claire Flanagan; and his sister, Jean Flanagan, with whom he shared an inseparable bond. He also leaves behind his nephew, Dylan Olsson, and a large, loving circle of cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by his father, Charles Flanagan. Danny's legacy of kindness and his infectious sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him
