Daniel J. Donahue of Woodbridge passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital at Rahway. He was 60 years old.

Born in Newark, NJ; He resided in Sussex and then Perth Amboy, before moving to Woodbridge 20 years ago.

Mr. Donahue was a Communicant of St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge.

Daniel was an avid fisherman, hunter, and motorcycle enthusiast to name just a few of his passions.

He was employed as an Operating Engineer for the past 41 years through Operating Engineers Local #68 in West Caldwell and was recently working at Bloomberg/ABM in Dayton NJ.

Mr. Donahue was predeceased by his parents Timothy J. And Rosanne McDonald Donahue; and a sister Bridget Schorling.

Surviving are his wife Mary Aquila; his children Maura Donahue, Daniel J. Donahue, Christian Widmaier and his wife Emily, two grandchildren Matthias and Joshua Widmaier, Virginia Widmaier, and his beloved Golden, Simba ; his brothers and sisters Theresa Westberg, Tricia Carey, Timothy Donahue, Joseph Donahue, Rosanne Donahue, Max Donahue, Jeremiah Donahue, and Wayne Ogen; and many nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services took place under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.
