Constantinos Ballos of Woodbridge passed away on Sunday, December
13, 2015 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. He was 72 years young.
Born in Epirus, Greece; He resided in Woodbridge since 1979.
Mr. Ballos was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Perth Amboy.
He was employed as a Chef at The Seville Diner in East Brunswick for many years before retiring.
Mr. Ballos served in The Green Beret division of the Greek Army.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Despina Gikas Ballos; two sons Fotios "Frank" Ballos and his wife Renee of Sayreville, and Kostas Ballos and his wife Joanna Kondek of Parlin; a brother Harry Ballos of Woodbridge; and was anticipating the joyous birth of his first grandchild.
Funeral will take place Thursday, December 17, 2015 9:45 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home ( www.Costello-greiner.com ) 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St.Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Perth Amboy. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
