Clare Erna Masyada passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at her home in Freehold. She was 95 years old.

Born in Carteret, she resided in Woodbridge for many years before moving to Freehold 3 years ago.

Mrs. Masyada was employed as a secretary for many years at I.T. Williams Company in Carteret and with Metal & Thermit Corporation in Rahway; and was a member of Perth Amboy Hungarian Seventh-day Adventist Church.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Masyada; a sister, Ethel Simeone; and a brother, Harold Brockmann.

Surviving are nieces and nephews, Joyce, Douglas and Vernon Brockmann, Brenda Odel and Peter Simeone; cousins, Winifred Schurek and Russell Cender; and Godchild, Cathy Hogrebe.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Interment will follow in Rahway Cemetery, Rahway. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
