Christopher Krupinski passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. He was 56 years old. Born in Elizabeth, he resided in Linden before moving to the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township 30 years ago. Mr. Krupinski was a graduate of Roselle Catholic High School, Class of 1976 and was employed as a grocery manager with Stop & Shop Grocery stores for over 30 years. He was an avid bowler and loved spending time with his dog, Shea. Mr. Krupinski was predeceased by his mother, Leonardine Kucharski Krupinski. He is survived by his children, Ashley and Drew, of Avenel; his father, Stanley, of Linden; a sister, Mary Elizabeth McFall and her husband, David, of Roselle; and two brothers, Joseph and his wife, Marie, of Elizabeth and John of Phillipsburg. A Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (www.Costello-koyen.com) 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
