Christopher Byczkiewicz of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016 at home. He was 41 years old.

Born in Poland; He resided in Sussex and Iselin before recently moving to Avenel.

Mr. Byczkiewicz was a graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute.

He was employed as a H.V.A.C. Mechanic with the Montville Board of Education for the past 7 years.

Chris was a Communicant of St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer Banz Byczkiewicz; his parents Mieczyslaw and Kazimiera Panek Byczkiewicz of Sussex; his grandmother Alfreda Kruk of Sussex; two brothers Jan W. Byczkiewicz of Garfield, and Andrzej Byczkiewicz of Sussex; a niece and two nephews.

Funeral will take place Saturday 10:15 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home ( www.Costello-koyen.com ) 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. a 11:00 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. James R.C. Church. Interment will be in St. Gertrude's Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
