Christopher B. Arie passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. He was 59 years old.

He was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI and has resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township for the past several years.

Mr. Arie was employed as a computer technician with Chase Bank in Iselin for 25 years before retiring in 2013.

He played at the mountain; and was a roadie with rockstar Ruby Starr.

Surviving are his sister, Rochelle "Shelly" Smolarek; brother, Jeff Arie; two nieces; and a nephew.

Funeral services will take place on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street (at Barron Avenue), Woodbridge. Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday afternoon beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
