Chong Hee Hong of Flushing, NY passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017 at New York Hospital Queens. She was 88 years old.

She was born on December 15, 1928 in Korea and lived in Flushing.

She was predeceased by her husband, In Soo Hong, in 1988; and by a son, Charles Hong, in 1986.

Surviving are her children, Selina Hedges, Oh Kyun Hong and Elaine Iodice; and grandchildren, Ellainna Hong, Ashlei Iodice, Robert Iodice, Rebecca Choi and Gabrielle Iodice.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. from Costello Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Interment will be in Hazel Wood Cemetery, Clark. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
