Chester "Chet" Kondracki passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. He was 76 years old.

Born in Iskrzyczyn, Poland, he came to the United States in 1963 and resided in Hillside and Avenel before moving to Colonia in 1988.

Mr. Kondracki was employed as a sales representative with Metropolitan Staple Corporation in Springfield for 40 years before retiring in 2016.

He enjoyed time spent with family and was an incredible craftsman.  He was able to fix everything that was broken and build anything that was asked for, using only the plans in his head.

Mr. Kondracki was predeceased by his wife, Elaine Stancik Kondracki, in 2019; and father, Jozef Kondracki.

Surviving are his sons, Andrew Kondracki and his wife, Jessica, of Manalapan and Matthew Kondracki and his fiancée, Laura Gabriel, of Colonia; mother, Maria Kondracki, of Iselin; sister, Diane Kondracki, of Iselin; sister-in-law, Annette Stancik of Colonia; and beloved grandchildren, Mikayla, Benjamin and Connor.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 8:45 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.  A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Parish, Hopelawn. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Hopelawn. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) or the American Cancer Society (cancer.org) in Mr. Kondracki's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
