Charlotte Marie Eak Lebeda died on Monday, July 3, 2017 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 87 years old

Born in Rahway; She resided in Avenel most of her life

Mrs. Lebeda was employed as a Lead Office Clerk with Supermarkets General in Avenel for 35 years retiring in 2004.

She was a communicant of Saint Andrew's Catholic Church in Avenel.

She enjoyed Reading, Crossword Puzzles, Poker and trips to Atlantic City.

She belonged to The Avenel Golden Circle Avenel Seniors.  She was an avid bowler most of her life and bowled on many teams including the Avenel Golden Seniors Citizens Team as well as The Union County Woman's Bowling League.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph L. Lebeda who passed away in 2011; her parents Thomas and Mary Karmazin Eak; a son-in-law Michael Banadyga; two sisters Virginia and Harriet; a brother Donald.

She is survived by three daughters, Janice Banadyga, of Avenel, Terri Danyo and her fiancé George, of Avenel and Karen Horvath and her husband, Bruce, of Woodbridge; her sister Laura Wranitz and her husband Ronnie; six grandchildren, Peter G. Danyo, Jr. and his wife Theresa, Shaun Austin and his wife Denise, Jaclyn Danyo and Lydia Horvath and Justin, Bryan Horvath and Emily Horvath; a great-grandchild on the way; as well as many nieces and nephews and their families.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. from the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:45 a.m. at Saint Andrew's Catholic Church, Avenel. Interment will be in Saint James Cemetery, Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
