Charles L. Doktor passed away at his home in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.  He was 73 years old

Born in Jersey City, he resided in Cranford before moving to Iselin 12 years ago.

Mr. Doktor was a graduate of St. Peter's College and received his Master of in Business Administration degree from Rutgers University.

He was employed as a manager for Kaiser Aluminum, Aramark and Delaware Company for many years before retiring.

Charles was a member of the American Irish Association of Woodbridge; and former member and treasurer of the Woodbridge Ski Club.

He was predeceased by his parents, Charles J. Doktor and Jean B. Michaelkowski Doktor.

Surviving are his children, Dr. Katherine Doktor and her husband Christopher, Megan Doktor, and Matthew Doktor and his wife Samantha; grandchildren, Dylan and Simon; and his longtime companion, Maureen A. Flanagan.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home 44 Green Street (at Barron Avenue), Woodbridge.

In lieu of flowers contributions to The Humane Society of the United States in Mr. Doktor's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
