Catherine "Kitty" Yarmack passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at her home in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township. She was 89 years old.

Born in New York City, she resided in Woodbridge Township for over 50 years.

Kitty was a member of the Bud's Hut Restaurant family in Avenel, where she cared for her customers for over 40 years; and was a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge.

A strong willed woman, she was outgoing and full of life. Kitty loved spending time with family and friends, always having a good time. Especially singing, dancing or playing bingo.

Catherine cherished her 47 years of marriage to Walter, who passed away in 2008.

Surviving are her five daughters, Lorraine Bishop of Staten Island, NY, Kathy Reno of Toms River, Barbara Smith of Woodbridge, Judy Calabrese of Port Reading and Karen Rucando of Monroe; nine grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. Also surviving is her beloved sister, Maureen Patterson.

Funeral services will be on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 9:45 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Entombment will be in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum in Hopelawn. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org), 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Kitty's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
