Catherine A. Ellison of Woodbridge passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.  She was 87 years old.

Born in the Bronx; She resided in Bayonne before moving to Woodbridge in 1997.

She was a communicant of St. John Vianney R.C. Church in Colonia and was a longtime resident of The Adams Tower Senior Citizens Building and was very active with the Senior Citizens Association at the building.

She was predeceased by her Husband John who passed away in 1997.

Surviving are her daughter Denise Mullins and her husband George; her grandchildren Kimberly Kavcak, George Mullins III and his wife Cara, and Scott Mullins and his wife Lynn; and her great-grandchildren Madison, Juliana, Tyler, Lexi, Dylan, Jack, and Leigh.

Funeral services will take place Wednesday, March 29, 2023 9:15 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel.  A 10:00 a.m. funeral liturgy will take place at St. John Vianney R.C. Church, 420 Inman Avenue, Colonia.  Interment will be in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
