Catherine Busceti passed away on Friday May 9, 2025 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 94 years old.

Born on August 26, 1930 to the late George and Vincenza Porpigilia in New York City, she has lived in Woodbridge for the last 68 years.

Catherine worked as a seamstress at Slumber Sue Pajamas in Woodbridge for 20 years before her retirement; and was communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rocco Busceti, in 2002; and sister, Antoinette Volpe, in 1992.

Surviving are her loving son, Serafino "Sammy" Busceti, of Woodbridge; sister, Angelina Romanella, of Monroe Township; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Entombment will be in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) in Catherine's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
