Carolyn B. Higgins passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Roosevelt Care Center in Old Bridge. She was 67 years old. Born in Perth Amboy, she lived in Woodbridge for most of her life. Mrs. Higgins was employed with Rahway Hospital for over 25 years before retiring as Head Telecommunications Operator in 2002. She was predeceased by her husband, James Higgins, in 1976. Surviving are two daughters, Valarie Higgins and her wife, Maria Scardaville, of Hatfield, PA and Annie Zarzycki and her husband, Michael, of Langhorne, PA; a brother, Joseph Bruno Nagy, of Jensen Beach, FL; and three grandchildren, Olivia, Tyler and Michael Zarzycki. Funeral services will take place on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. Interment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
