Caroline E. Pomykala passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. She was 81 years old. Born in Jersey City, she resided in Perth Amboy before moving to the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township 12 years ago. Miss Pomykala was employed as a seamstress with Maidenform Company in Perth Amboy for many years. She was a communicant of Blessed John Paul II Parish, Saint Stephen's Church in Perth Amboy. Surviving are a sister, Joan Wright, of Colonia; and three nieces, Theresa Soden, Sandra Kieras and Roxanne Beebe. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. from the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (www.Costello-koyen.com), 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed John Paul II Parish, Saint Stephen's Church in Perth Amboy. Entombment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00 until 4:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
