Caroline (Vindici) Mazzillo , commonly known as; Mom, Gram, Silverhead and GG passed peacefully at home on Thursday, July 23, 2015. She was 95 years old. Born in Newark, she lived in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township for 54 years. Mrs. Mazzillo was a communicant of St. Andrew's R.C. Church in Avenel. She was predeceased by her husband Peter A. Mazzillo, her son Peter J. Mazzillo and 3 brothers, Alfonso, Joseph & William. Surviving are her 2 children Vera McConnell of Mesa AZ and James Mazzillo and his wife Pauline of Woodbridge NJ. Two sisters Louise D'Amato of Westfield NJ and Nancy Treloar of Toms River, NJ. She is also leaving behind 4 grandchildren; the fabulous Paula Mohr and her spouse Roy of Milltown NJ, the awesome Tracy Wild and her spouse Earl of Avenel NJ, the loving Teresa Olsen, and the one and only Peter Mazzillo both of Woodbridge NJ. As well as 7 great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Shawn, Andrew, Samantha, Kirk, Victoria and Cynthia. Along with our good neighbors and dear friends. A 10:45 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Andrew's R.C. Church. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
