Carol Ann Wilson passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 71 years old. Born in Perth Amboy, she resided in Carteret for many years before moving to Old Bridge 20 years ago. She was most recently an active and beloved resident of Old Bridge Senior Housing. Mrs. Wilson was employed as office manager with Preferred Behavioral Health in Lakewood for 10 years before retiring in 2011 and had previously worked at Bagcraft and Oxford, both in Carteret. Carol was predeceased by a daughter, Cynthia Pollock, in 1982. Surviving are a daughter, Stacy Stryjewski and her husband, Bill, of Arlington, VA; her mother, Ann DiGiovanni, of Toms River; three sisters, Linda Urban of Woodbridge, Debra Bird of Manahawkin and Jayne Wuy of Howell; and three brothers, William Bird of Toms River, Thomas Bird of Phillisburg and John J. Bird of Millstone Township. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. Interment will follow in Saint Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
