Carmen Perina passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at her daughter's home in Avenel. She was 80 years old.

Born in Mera-Oleiros-LaCoruna, Spain, she has resided in Woodbridge for the past 51 years.

Mrs. Perina was a communicant of Saint Andrew's Catholic Church in Avenel.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Perina, in 1997; and three brothers, Abelardo, Pedro and Jose Mosquera-Pardo.

Surviving are her daughters, Carmen Fernandez and her husband, Antonio, of Avenel and Marisa Fernandez and her husband, Manuel, of Avenel; four grandchildren, Evan, Matthew, Alexander and Emily Fernandez; two sisters, Manuela Mosquera-Pardo of Mera, Spain and Dora Pastor of Belleville.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Funeral services will be on Wednesday morning at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew's Catholic Church, Avenel. Entombment will be in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum, Woodbridge.
