Carmen Frelish passed away on Saturday July 26, 2025 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 95 years old.

Born on October 23, 1929 in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico to the late Lucia and José Maury, she was a resident of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township for the past 72 years.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Frelish, Sr.; and son, José William Frelish.

Surviving are her son Arthur Frelish, Jr.; grandchildren, Lisa, Ashley, Jeffrey, Natalie Jane, Jennifer and Chea Mae Marie; and great grandchildren, Zara, Zael, Titan, Donte, Tidus, Zidane, Adonie, Christopher and Jacob.

Funeral Services will take place on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Central Baptist Church in Avenel. Interment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge. Visitation for family and friends will take place on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.at the Central Baptist Church, 505 Wylie Street, Avenel.
