Carlos Salomon, Jr. of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 72 years old. Born in San Juan Puerto Rico; He has resided in Avenel for the past 16 years. Mr. Salomon was employed as Machinist most of his life retiring from Novembal U.S.A. in Edison in 2008. He was a Communicant of St. Andrew's R.C. Church in Avenel. He was predeceased by his parents Carlos and Maria Maldonado Salomon; and a brother Mariano Salomon. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Ester Sandez Salomon; a daughter Yasmin Salomon of Avenel; two sons Carlos Salomon, III of Arizona, and Mario Salomon of Jersey City; and five grandchildren. Funeral will take place Friday, January 30, 2014 8:45 a.m. from COSTELLO-GREINER HOME, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ. A 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will follow at St. Andrew's R.C. Church, 244 Avenel Street, Avenel, NJ. Committal service will take place at Rosehill Crematory, Linden. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
