Obituary

Brian David Fee passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at his home in Woodbridge surrounded by his loving family. He was 62 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy on September 11, 1962, he was a lifelong resident of Woodbridge.

Mr. Fee was employed as a mechanic with Bayshore Recycling in Keasbey for the past 12 years; and had previously been employed in a similar capacity with Overnight Transportation and UPS Freight in Carteret.

Serving as a volunteer Firefighter for over 30 years, Brian was an exempt and life member of Woodbridge Fire Company No. 1, where he served as Chief in 2015 and 2019, and was currently serving as Assistant Chief. He was also active with the Woodbridge Township Fire Officers Association, where he was former President and was currently serving as Vice President.

Brian always had a love for all vehicles. He used to work on cars at his home to compete in demolition derbies. He was also an avid fan of NASCAR; rarely missing a race. One of his favorite memories was spending his birthday with his son at Richmond Raceway on First Responder Day.

He was predeceased by his father, John "Jack" Fee, in 1980; and brother, Timothy M. Fee, in 2014.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 34 years, Ellen Bryson Fee; son, Patrick B. Fee, of Woodbridge; mother, Geraldine Krisak Fee, of Woodbridge; brothers, John Fee and his wife, Shirley, of Waretown, Kevin Fee and his wife, Angela, of Spotswood and Sean Fee and his wife, Judy, of Altamonte Springs, FL; mother and father in law, Rita and John Bryson, of Iselin; sister in law, Lorraine Zarillo and her husband, Mike, of The Villages, FL; brothers in law, John Bryson and his wife, Janice, of  Bridgewater and Thomas Bryson and his wife, Donna, of Ocean Gate; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 9:45 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Brian had a true love for all animals, and in lieu of flowers contributions to St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in Madison (www.sthuberts.org/donate) in his memory would be greatly appreciated.
