Barry A. Ruck of Woodbridge passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at home.  He was 59 years old.

He was born in Bayonne, NJ and was raised in Colonia and resided in Woodbridge.

Mr. Ruck was an HVAC Technician with Berkeley Heating and Air Conditioning in Gillette for the past 20 years.

He loved baseball, football and hockey and was a die hard New York Mets Fan. He loved to follow the New York Giants and New Jersey Devils. His best times were spent watching his son Josh play baseball and bowling as well as football with the Woodbridge Golden Saints. He was a Board Member and the Social Media Director of the Saints. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. His son was the light of his life.

He was predeceased by his father, Sandy Korenthal, and his mother-in-law, Frances Kara.

Surviving are his wife of 19 years Linda Kara Ruck; his son, Joshua Ruck; Mother and Step-Father, Joyce and Jerry Ruck of Delray Beach, FL; his sister, Rebecca Ruck of Jersey City; his father-in-law, Frank Kara of Woodbridge; two sisters-in-law, Irene Karmazsin of Edison and Doreen Ploski of Las Vegas, NV; his brother-in-law Frank Kara of Las Vegas, NV; his nephews Stephen Karmazsin (Shannon), Timothy Karmazsin (Jillian), Jason Ploski, and Alexander Ploski.

Private funeral arrangements are under the care of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.

A Celebration of Barry's Life will take place in the summer.
