Augustine "Augie" Bove, Jr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 with his family at his side at JFK Hartwyck at Edison Estates in Edison. He was 82 years old.

Born in Jersey City to the late Augustine and Josephine Bove, he has resided in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township for over 50 years.

Mr. Bove was employed as a crane operator with United Operating Engineers Local #825 in Springfield for 25 years before retiring in 1999.

He was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Port Reading and a member of Saint Cecelia's Council 3639, Kinights of Columbus in Iselin.

In addition to his parents, Augie was predeceased by his wife, Gloria Costa Bove, in 2015; sister, Grace Bozza; and brothers, Emile Bove and Michael "Sonny" Bove.

Surviving are his daughters, Sharon Wolter of Fords and Christine Puccio of Lewisburg, PA; son, Marc Bove, of San Francisco, CA; and grandchildren, Samantha, Gianna, Marc, Matthew, Dominic and Nickolas.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home , 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Port Reading. Cremation will be private. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
