Arthur W. Rowland passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 73 years old.

Born on July 27, 1948 to the late Helen and William Rowland in Zanesville, OH, he has resided in Woodbridge Township for many years.

Mr. Rowland was employed with Merck and Company in Rahway as a laboratory technician for 35 years before his retirement; and belonged to Saint Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Carteret.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Anna Marie Rowland, in 2019; and brother, Frank Rowland.

Surviving are his daughter, Sarah Rowland, of Edison; son, Christopher Rowland, of Raleigh, NC; and beloved granddaughter, Abigail Rowland.

Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. An interment service will take place on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Saint Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 645 Roosevelt Avenue, Carteret, NJ 07008 in Mr. Rowland's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
