Arthur C. Frelish, Sr. of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 at home. He was 87 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy; He resided in Avenel for the past 60 years.

He served in the United States army during the Korean War

Mr. Frelish was a banker at Banker Trust of New York and Summit Bank for many years retiring in 1989.

He was predeceased by a son Jose William Frelish; two sisters Vivian and Alice; and a brother William Frelish.

Surviving are his wife Carmen Maury Jimenez Frelish; a son Arthur Frelish, Jr.; four grandchildren Jeffrey, Natalie Jane, Jennifer, and Chea Mae Marie; two great-grandchildren Adione and Tidus.

Funeral will take place Friday 11:00 a.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Interment will be in Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.

Visiting hours will be Thursday 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
