Antonio Dotro passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 80 years old.

Born in Spilinga, Italy, he resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township before moving to Edison in 1992.

Mr. Dotro was employed as a Tool & Die maker with Automatic Switch in Florham Park for 37 years before retiring in 2002.

He was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel; and a member of the Spilingese Social Club in Newark.

He was predeceased by his parents, Francisco and Maria Rose Porcelle Dotro.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marianna Fiamingo Dotro;  sons, Frank Dotro and his wife, Nicole, of Avenel and Thomas Dotro and his wife, Marisa, of Readington Township; brother, Raffaele Dotro of Kenilworth; and grandchildren, Anthony, Peter, Frank Jr., Antonio and Annalisa.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 8:45 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, North Madison Avenue, Avenel.  Entombment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.  Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
