Anthony Joseph Mastanduno, Sr. passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 68 years old.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he has resided in Woodbridge since 1980.

Mr. Mastanduno was employed as a sheet metal foreman with Artkraft Strauss, LLC in New York City for 40 years until his retirement in 2007.

He belonged to Local 137 of the Sheet Metal Workers Union in New York City; and enjoyed golfing, New York Jets football and time spent with his faithful canine friend, Sophie.

Above all else Anthony's family was the center of his world. His greatest pleasure was being with his wife, grandchildren and children.

Surviving are his devoted wife of 45 years, Lisa Nystrom Mastanduno; sons, Anthony J. Mastanduno, Jr. and his wife, Michelene, of Brooklyn, NY and Michael J. Mastanduno and his wife, Helen, of Denville; sisters, Theresa Beller, Irene Manfredi, Ellen Timmes and Donna Loufek; brothers, Joseph Mastanduno, Alfred Mastanduno and Vincent Mastanduno; and grandchildren, Alyssa, John, Alex, Brianna and Brennivin.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 9:30 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home ( www.costello-greiner.com ) 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Entombment will follow in Saint Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
