Anthony N. Lentini passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. He was 86 years old.

Born in Bayonne, he resided in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township for many years and moved to Avenel 6 years ago.

Mr. Lentini was a veteran of the United States Army and was employed as a computer technician with AT&T Corporation in Basking Ridge for many years prior to retiring in 1990.

He enjoyed golf and bowling

Mr. Lentini was predeceased by his wife, Joanne Guzzi Lentini, in 2019; and parents, Salvatore and Mamie Bullaor Lentini.

Surviving are his sons, Anthony Lentini of Avenel and Michael Lentini of Bridgewater; brother, Joseph Lentini, of Barnegat; and grandchildren, Alexa, Anthony, Gianna and Michael Lentini.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel, a Mass of Resurrection will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Entombment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Mr. Lentini's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
