Anthony Sacripanti III of the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. He was 59 years old. Born in Rahway, he resided in Avenel before moving to Colonia 32 years ago. Mr. Sacripanti was a graduate of Colonia High School, class of 1974 and was employed as a delivery driver for The News Tribune, Star Ledger, New York Times, Jersey Journal and Daily News newspapers for 30 years before retiring in 2007. He also owned and operated Anthony's Home Improvements for many years. He was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel; an avid golfer and gardener; and loved going to the beach with family and friends. Mr. Sacripanti was predeceased by his father, Anthony Sacripanti, Jr., in 2012. Surviving are his beloved wife of 39 years, Sandra Buslow Sacripanti; a daughter, Meredith, of Clark; his mother, Janet Florio Sacripanti, of Avenel; a sister, Melissa Kane of Avenel; and a nephew, Justin Kane. Visitation will be on Monday, June 22, 2015 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (costello-koyen.com), 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, beginning at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home, a Mass of Resurrection will follow at 9:45 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
