Anne Geddes Napier passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 at her home in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township. She was 74 years old.

Born in Jersey City, she resided in Union before moving to Colonia 25 years ago.

Mrs. Napier was employed as a medical claims examiner with Teamsters Local 863 in Mountainside for 20 years before retiring in January.

She was a communicant of Saint Cecelia's Catholic Church in Iselin.

Mrs. Napier was predeceased by her parents, Alice and Herbert Geddes; sister, Maureen Geddes; and brothers, Kevin Geddes and Robert Doherty.

Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Thomas V. Napier, Sr.; daughter, Robyn Gumbs and her husband, Matthew, of Colonia; son, Thomas Napier and his wife, Allison, of Morristown; brothers, Daniel Geddes of Farmingdale and Brian Geddes of North Carolina; granddaughter, Madyson Gumbs; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Resurrection will celebrated on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 11:15 a.m. at Saint Cecelia's Catholic Church, Iselin. Interment will follow in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home ( www.costello-greiner.com ), 44 Green Street (at Barron Avenue), Woodbridge. the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org) in Mrs. Napier's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
