Anne Pappas Barany went home to be with her Lord on Monday, May 28, 2018 at the New Jersey Veterans Home at Menlo Park. She was 93 years old.
She was born in, and a lifelong resident of, Woodbridge.
Mrs. Barany was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbridge. She was an Ordained Elder, Sunday School teacher, and a member of many committees. She was also a volunteer at the Woodbridge Developmental Center.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ernest A. Barany, Sr., in 2016; and beloved daughter, Linda Chapman, in 2015.
Surviving are her daughter, Gail Seeman, of Macungie, PA; sons, Ernest A. Barany, Jr. of Tallahassee, FL, Charles W. Barany of Woodbridge, Matthew J. Barany of Woodbridge and Daniel L. Barany of Avenel; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a great great grandson.
Funeral services will be on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbridge, 600 Rahway Avenue, Woodbridge. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.
In lieu of flowers contributions to the First Presbyterian Church Committee for Christian Concerns, 600 Rahway Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 in Mrs. Barany's memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.
