Anne M. Apostol passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at her son's home in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township. She was 102 years old. Born in New York City, she has resided in Avenel since 1949. Mrs. Apostol was predeceased by her husband, Emilio Apostol; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Apostol. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Ellen Apostol of Wainae, HI and Dorothea Barry and her husband, Stephen, of Manalapan; two sons, Andre Apostol and his wife, Aurie, of Parlin and Luis "Jack" Apostol and his wife, Florence, of Iselin; eight grandchildren, Melanie, Nicholas, Brittany, Jennifer, David, Rebecca, Nanette and Yvonne; and eight great grandchildren, Cami, Lucy, Mia, Christopher, Adam, Andrew, Taniece and D'Andre. A Mass of resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel under the direction of Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Saint Andrew Church, 244 Avenel Street, Avenel, NJ 07001 in Anne's memory would be appreciated by the family.
