Anna M. Florio-Gulvas passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 81 years old.

Born on January 10, 1944 in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township to the late Ethel and Francis Florio, she was a lifelong resident of Avenel.

Mrs. Florio-Gulvas was employed as a receptionist with the office of Doctor Leonard in Edison for ten years before her retirement in 2020.

Anna enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, baking and the Jersey Shore.

Surviving are her loving husband of 32 years, William T. Gulvas; daughters, Lisa Phillip and her husband, George, of Barnegat and Josephine of Edison; sisters, Linda Garrone of Avenel, Theresa Kau of Springboro, OH and Jo Ann Foglia of Whiting; brothers, Fred Einhorn of Holmdel and Albert Florio of Woodbridge; grandchildren, Tianna, Jason and Elizabeth; and great grandson, Miles.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Entombment will follow at Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
