Ann Redus passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Merwick Care in Plainsboro. She was 88 years old.

Born in Sewaren, she resided there until moving to Princeton Junction in 2006.

Mrs. Redus was employed as a cashier with Pathmark Supermarket in Avenel for 25 years before retiring in 2000.

She was a member of The Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Perth Amboy.

Ann was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Eva Mediczuk Patskanick; and many brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her husband of 64

years, John Redus; daughter, Cynthia Ann Redus-Tarchis of Princeton Junction; and grandsons, John James Tarchis and Nicholas Peter Tarchis.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, January 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home ( www.costello-greiner.com ) 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30 a.m. at The Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 684 Alta Vista Place, Perth Amboy. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Visiting hours for family and friends be on Thursday morning from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at the funeral home.
