Ann Caracappa-Joe of the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township passed away after a brave battle with breast cancer on Wednesday October 20, 2021 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 62 years old.

Ann was born in Brooklyn, NY and was raised in Port Reading and resided in Colonia for the past 31 years.

She was a communicant of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Colonia. Ann was a Woodbridge High School Graduate of 1977. Ann also enjoyed going to the Club at Woodbridge where she was an active member.

Ann was predeceased by her father Joseph J. Caracappa and mother Anna Milonas Caracappa.

Surviving Ann is her husband of 33 years Anthony J. Joe; her son Anthony of Colonia and daughter Rachel of Colonia; two sisters, Laura Caracappa of Colonia, Carol Caracappa of Hillsborough; two brothers Michael Caracappa of Colonia, and Joseph Caracappa of Belle Mead; and many nieces and nephews.

Ann will be remembered by her beauty, smile and contagious laugh. Her kind heart was always putting others before herself, especially her beloved family.

The Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel.

The Funeral will take place on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home. A 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 420 Inman Ave, Colonia with burial to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery.
