We regretfully announce the passing of Ann L. Bowley. She died peacefully on October 24, 2021 at age 95, surrounded by her loving, extended family members: Helen, Frank and Bozena.

She was born to Salvatore and Assunta Ciuffreda in Port Reading, NJ.

Ann was a graduate of Woodbridge High School and worked at Halloran Hospital in Staten Island, NY.

She was the loving wife of John E. Bowley, Sr. for 55 years and devoted mother of her son, John E. Bowley, Jr.

Most of her life she resided in Rahway, NJ.

Ann was predeceased by her husband John; sister, Mary; and brothers, Leonard and Anthony.

She will be forever remembered by her surviving son, John E. Bowley Jr.; nephews Leonard, Robert and Anthony and their families; and grandnieces, Lisa and Kathy.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home in Woodbridge, NJ. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Port Reading, NJ. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
