Anita Devorak of the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at home. She was 69 years old.
Born in Perth Amboy; She was a lifelong resident of Port Reading.
Mrs. Devorak was a Communicant of St. Anthony's R.C. Church in Port Reading.
She was employed at Vallone's Bakery in Carteret for many years and then at Nextel Communications in Piscataway as a programmer before retiring.
She was predeceased by her husband William J. Devorak who passed away in 2006; a son Jason Devorak who passed away in 2009; her parents Steven and Esther Peto; two brothers Mike Peto and Stephen Peto.
Surviving are her son William J. Devorak, Jr. and his wife Victoria of Mount Holly; three grandchildren Ava-Adora, Greyson, and Quintin; three sisters Cheryl Drzewoszewski of North Augusta, South Carolina, Susan Peto of Middletown, NJ, and Barbara Peto of Bridgewater; two brothers Ronald Peto of Tucson, Arizona, and Thomas Peto of Phoenix, Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will take place Tuesday November, 15, 2016 10:00 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home ( www.Costello-greiner.com ) 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Monday 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
