Angeline "Angie" Carbone Hayes of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway surrounded by her loving family. She was 93 years old.

She was born in Jersey City and has resided in Avenel since 1951.

Mrs. Hayes was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel and was a member of the Colonia Chapter of the AARP and The Avenel Golden Circle Senior Citizens.

Angie enjoyed spending time with family and grand dogs Riley, Jack, Lexi, and Reggie, she loved traveling especially to Aruba, Atlantic City and the Jersey Shore.   She also enjoyed baking, swimming and the scratch off lottery tickets.

She was predceased by her husband of 67 years on June 7th of this year; and her parents, Angeline and Dominick Carbone.

Angie is survived by two daughters, Janet Hayes DeCaprio and her husband, Rich, and Christine Reno and her husband, John; a son, William Hayes, and his wife, Patty; sister Teresa Soriero; four grandchildren Brian, Donna, Melissa, and Jennifer; and many nieces and nephews

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Oksanna for her loving care.

A Mass of Ressurection will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, North Madison Avenue, Avenel. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to St. Andrew's R.C. Church, 244 Avenel Street, Avenel, NJ 07001 in Angeline's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
