Angel "Angelo" Valentin passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. He was 64 years old.

Born in Newark, he has resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township for the past 46 years.

Mr. Valentine was employed as a mechanic before his retirement.

He was predeceased by his mother, Genoveva Rosa Valentin, in 1984; and father, Angel Valentin, in 2016.

Surviving are his sisters, Diane Valentin of Allentown, NJ, Miriam Valentin of Avenel and Giny Valentin of Puerto Rico; brothers, Frankie Valentin of California and Eddie Valentin of Fords; and nieces, Victoria, Melissa and Genevieve.

Funeral services will be on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 9:15 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (costello-koyen.com), 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, North Madison Avenue, Avenel. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visiting hours for family and friends will be on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
