Obituary

Angel W. Santiago passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Briarwood Care Center in South Amboy. He was 65 years old. Born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, he resided in Woodbridge for most of his life. Mr. Santiago was employed as Caretaker with the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Woodbridge for the past 17 years; and was a member of the Woodbridge Historical Society. He was predeceased by a brother, Noel Santiago. Surviving are two daughters, Michel Santiago of North Plainfield and Tammy Santiago of Parlin; a son, David Santiago, of Tampa, FL; five grandchildren, Alyssa, Jayden and Emma Grace Santiago, Dante Graves and Thomas Kasper; and a sister, Mina. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbridge, 600 Rahway Avenue, Woodbridge. A committal service will foloow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The First Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 600 Rahway Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
