Angel Margaret Cuevas passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at her home in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township. She was 25 years old.

Angel was born in Elizabeth and has lived in Avenel for the past 5 years.

She was a graduate of Lakewood High School; and a member of Saint Peter's Episcopal Church in Perth Amboy.

Angel loved Nintendo games, rubber toys and her hats and shoes.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Patricia Irizarry; her maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. B. Freeman of South Carolina.

Surviving are her father, Robert R. Cuevas and his wife, Susan; Her mother Heather Stephens of Texas; siblings, Nicole Stephens of Pennsylvania, Nicole Cuevas of Middletown, Christine Badolato of Florida and Bradlee Crenzo of Linden; grandfather, Pablo Irizarry, of Florida; godmother, Susan Irizarry; godfather, Julio Irizarry; nephew, Nicholas Rotundo; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will take place on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Cremation will be private. Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
