Andrew A. Mazzarella resident of Menlo Park Veteran's Home, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Roosevelt Care Center in Edison. He was 87 years old. Born in New York City: He moved to Avenel in 1952. Mr. Mazzarella was a United States Air Force Veteran serving during World War II. He was employed at M & T Chemicals in Linden and Fedders Corporation before retiring in 1991. He was predeceased by his Wife Lillian who died in 2004. He is survived by 6 children Frances Vaselovic, Rosemarie Charney and her husband Dave; and Lucille Haley and her fiancé Gary Piscopo; Patrick Agugliaro, A.J. Mazzarella and his wife Valerie, and Andrew Mazzarella; a brother John Mazzarella; three grandchildren Brian, Evan, and Jordan. Pre-deceased by a brother Victor Merrill and sisters Jean Lee and Rosalie Mazzarella. A Funeral will take place Friday, December 27, 2013 10:00 am at COSTELLO-KOYEN FUNERAL HOME (www.Costello-Koyen.com) 399 Avenel Street at Demorest Avenue, Avenel.
