Ana Pereira Rodrigues Jorge passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Spring Creek Rehabilitation Center in Perth Amboy.  She was 80 years old.

Born in Ardaos, Portugal, she has resided in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township since 2008.

Mrs. Jorge was a faithful communicant of Saint John Vianney Catholic Church in Colonia. She enjoyed spending her time taking long walks around the neighborhood. In the summer months, Ana loved to tend to the garden. She loved spending time with her family and cooking meals for big family gatherings.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jose Dias Jorge, in 2017; parents, Americo Monteiro Rodrigues and Martinha Pereira; and brother Antonio Pereira Rodrigues.

Surviving siblings Isabel Pereira Rodrigues, Maria Pereira Rodrigues, Domingos Pereira Rodrigues. Step sons, Antonio Jorge, of Colonia and Avelino Jorge of Connecticut; grandchildren, Anthony, Izilda Amber, Nicole, Alexis, Eliza and Dominic; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins in the USA, Portugal and France.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated for Mrs. Jorge on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at Saint John Vianney Catholic Church, 420 Inman Avenue, Colonia NJ. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 125 Central Ave, East Orange NJ.
