Alice Shea, of Westfield, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Clark Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clark. She was born in Harrison, NJ in 1920 to the late Augustus and Rose Dietz. Mrs. Shea was employed in the Dietary Department at Union Hospital for 30 years, retiring in 1985. She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis Shea; a daughter, Dianne Riccobene; a brother, Howard Dietz; and sisters, Lillian Bopp, Rose Robe, Mary Ferrera, Flora Vayda and Dorothy Shea. She is survived by her son, Dennis, and his wife, Diane, of Arizona; her daughter, Denise Hitchcock, of Avenel; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge, NJ. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery, Union. Visitation will be on Monday from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
