Alice Jane Nemeth, nee Barth, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017 in the home of her niece and nephew, Gail and William Volk, in Waretown. She was 94 years old.

Born in Newark on February 3, 1922, she resided in Marlboro before moving to Waretown.

Alice was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, James Nemeth; her sons, Frank and Steven Richard Kuchie; and a grandson, Richard Bines.

Surviving are her brother, Donald Barth; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Holy Redeemer Hospice, for their compassionate support in her final days, and a special thank you to Deirdre Mauro and Jen Larkin, RN.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Interment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
