Alice Van Bramer died on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division. She was 94 years old.

Born in Rahway, Alice lived in Woodbridge for most of her life.

She had worked many years as a toll collector for the Garden State Parkway before her retirement; was an active member and a Sunday School teacher at the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbridge; and had also served as a den mother for a local Boy Scouts troop.

Alice was predeceased by her husband, Vernon Van Bramer.

Surviving are four sons; Israel Van Bramer and his wife, Sharla, William Thomas Van Bramer, Bruce Edward Van Bramer and Brent Kevin Van Bramer and his wife, Grace Ann; and two grandsons, Brent Manuel Van Bramer and Kyle Henry Van Bramer.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street (at Barron Avenue) Woodbridge.
